Established in 1956, AACL is a national charity and the second largest animal welfare organisation in South Africa. The charity’s prime objective is “to promote kindness and prevent or suppress cruelty to animalsâ€. Based at Artesia Farm in Hammarsdale, we are a non- profit (NPO 000-563) and public benefit organisation (PBO930006852) and rely on donations to fund our charitable activities.
