The Human Resource Development Council of South Africa (HRDC) is a national, multi stakeholder advisory body under the leadership and stewardship of the Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa. It is managed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Training. It was established in March 2010. The Membership is based on five-year tenure and consists of Government Ministers, senior business leaders,representatives from organised labour, academia and civil society.The HRDC sets the human resource development agenda for the country.
